FITTING the “GIRLS’<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
I’m certified for a program that’s called Fitting the “Girls”<\/strong><\/span> originally by Connie Amaden-Crawford of Fashion Patterns by Coni.\u00a0 Her Patternmaking & Draping books are used in Universities to teach Fashion Design and Marketing students.<\/div>\n
Connie’s patterns are designed to fit the mature body type.<\/div>\n

You will be fitted into one of 60 pre-made blouse blocks (shells) in various sizes from 8 – 20 and 1X – 6X.\u00a0 the blouse blocks cover bust cups A\/B, C\/D\/DD(E), (DDD) F\/G and H\/I.\u00a0 Each attendee will be personally fitted and taught how to use this custom blouse block to style any shirt, vest, dress or jacket.\u00a0 Interchanging various pattern pieces from other existing patterns will be demonstrated.\u00a0 Learn how to remove\u00a0 gaposis from the neckline, no more easing in excess fabric and causing fullness where you don’t need it.\u00a0 Make a shoulder and armhole fit properly and matching collars to your neckline will be demonstrated.\u00a0 Using 1\/3 scale patterns, you will also try a few of these elements.\u00a0 To participate you will bring paper scissors, scotch tape, plastic ruler (18″X 2″ grid) and a stapler.<\/div>\n

If you sew, you will enjoy this class and have more success with your sewing projects that will finally fit.\u00a0 If you don’t sew, I can fit you into your blouse block then teach you to sew and achieve success with your sewing projects.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
